Anemia is one of the most common types of illnesses that people all over the world suffer from. When you have anemia, this means that your body does not have enough red blood cells throughout your body. Anemia can because there has been too much blood loss, or red blood cells are being destroyed. If your body is not able to create enough red blood cells, you will begin to develop anemic symptoms. Here is more information regarding three different types of anemia:

1. Iron-deficiency anemia
There are many different types of anemia. However, the most common type of anemia is called iron-deficiency anemia.Iron deficiency anemia is a type of anemia where blood cells do not contain enough healthy red blood cells. Having red blood cells is very important because red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body. In this type of anemia, there is not enough iron in the body. If your body does not have enough iron, your body will not be able to produce enough red blood cells that carry oxygen in your body.Some of the most common symptoms include extreme fatigue, pale skin, inflammation, cold hands, weakness and dizziness.

2. Aplastic anemia
Aplastic anemia is a type of anemia that makes your body stops producing the necessary amount of new blood cells. One of the most common symptoms from a plastic anemia is feeling extreme fatigue and having uncontrollable bleeding. This type of anemia can develop at any age, and it is known to get worse over a long period of time. Usually, this type of anemia occurs when the individual is exposed to radiation or chemotherapy treatment. It is also developed if there is a viral infection or if the individual is pregnant.

3. Pernicious anemia
Pernicious anemia is a type of anemia in which the body does not contain enough healthy red blood cells. If the body does not contain enough healthy red blood cells, the body will like having a sufficient amount of oxygen that it needs in order to remain healthy and strong. Usually, an individual can develop this type of anemia if they have an autoimmune condition. This is when the bodies immune system attacks a specific lining of the stomach.

4. The importance of iron
To treat any type of anemia, it is recommended to eat iron rich foods. These foods can include peas, beans, seafood, red meat, pork, leafy greens, leafy vegetables and also dried fruit. It is highly encouraged to get treated immediately after you find out that you have been anemic problem. The faster that you get treated, the faster that you will start to feel better.
